House hunting...

Amrit and I have been thinking of buying a house for quite some time. Sometimes I think that we are want-to-be-buyers than actual home-buyers. We are in Los Angeles, with jobs we both like and enjoy. Money is not the only issue. The whole thing of buying a house seems illogical. It makes no sense financially, any idiot can tell us this. The same money invested in a diversified portfolio can bring far more returns than house appreciation.
But I guess it is the nesting gene.. of having ones own place. :)
Maybe we will buy, maybe we won't. The day we buy we will be one of the illogical ones :)
